Properties of Merit

The Properties of Merit program has been sponsored by the Future for Oneonta Foundation with support from the Daily Star for 30 years. A committee of community members selects properties for consideration each year. The committee selects properties in the summer and the community votes on properties in September.

Apply for Funding

The Future of Oneonta Foundation has a new strategic plan. The strategic plan highlights the Board’s commitment to the ABC’s. Arts and Culture, Beautification, and Community Involvement. Unrestricted grants ranging from $250-1000 will be given to organizations that support projects that fit into those broad categories. If your organization needs funding for a project that fits the strategic plan please click below to access the grant request form. Complete the form and mail or email it to the FOF office. Requests are reviewed two times per year in June and in December.

Ways to Give

All contributions go directly back into the community in the form of community projects. The administrative overhead of these donations is minimal. Out of every dollar donated, only 15 cents goes to operations. We put all of your donations to work!

Since we can only expand our programs through the generosity of our FOF supporters, we encourage you to support us with any size donation. Without the generous support we have received to date, we would be unable to continue programs like our newsletters, scholarships, and other projects which have made this a better community for everyone.
